First Watch is proud to announce its 9th Michigan restaurant, located at 26054 Ingersol Drive in Novi Town Center. The popular breakfast chain has been looking forward to expanding into Novi for the past three to four years and is delighted that the city has welcomed them with open arms. Michiganders have embraced the fresh approach to food that First Watch offers, and the restaurant is proud to be part of the community.

First Watch has been around for more than 40 years, opening its first restaurant in California and now operating 445 locations across 28 states. The chain’s success is attributed to two strategies: putting employees first to ensure customers are well taken care of, and sourcing ingredients locally and seasonally. Guests can choose from a variety of dishes such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes.

Gaines’ favorite is the Chickichanga, a delicious concoction of whipped eggs, spicy all-natural chicken breast, chorizo, green chiles, Monterey Jack cheese, onions, and avocado, and topped with Veracruz sauce wrapped in a tortilla. They also offer fresh juices like “Purple Haze” made with lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower, and a hint of lavender. Plus, they’re expanding their alcoholic beverages selection with cocktails like Vodka Kale Tonic with gluten-free vodka, freshly juiced kale, Fuji apple, English cucumber, and lemon, and Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk with coconut rum, cold brew coffee, coconut milk, and agave nectar. All in all, First Watch has something for everyone!

Gaines is proud of First Watch’s philanthropic efforts, and their Novi location pre-opening family and friends event raised an impressive $1,700 for the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Additionally, they’re gearing up to make a similar impact at their upcoming Ann Arbor location opening in October.
